A New Way

Gaze into the clear night sky
until you see a shooting star fly by.
Make a wish for your future self
or make a wish for someone else.
Unlock the vault of memories
letting fear, hurt, and pain go free.
Sit silently and listen close within,
you will hear the poetry start to begin.
Use your heart as your way of seeing
and connect again with a sacred being.
